    Went for my daughter's birthday. Chef wasn't as entertaining as I'd seen before. We all had a variety of meats as part of our entrees. Next time would not partake in any seafood. We had scallops and shrimp and they were sooooo fishy tasting we didn't eat them.  We weren't going to get sick from the few bites we had.

    Went tonight for Mother's day. Service was great. Food was great. Big portions. Chef was funny! Kid friendly. We all had a great time. Thanks Shogun!

    The place is not much to look at. We didn't eat hibachi. We ordered sushi. Volcano Roll AMAZING!
    Hot Geisha Roll and Lauren Roll are good. Shrimp tempura is really good. Salmon roll is ok. Tuna roll is good. Spider roll insides are good. The eel sauce on it is really sweet and not what were used to. Hot tea is perfect.

    It's been years since we went to shogun and it'll be years before we ever try again. Terrible food, terrible chef, terrible service. The chef tossed the raw egg into some lady's sauce dish and splattered all over her clothes and face. He quietly apologized several times but never got a waitress over to clean up the mess or get extra napkins. After we did, he didn't offer to discount her food or anything. He was so nervous he didn't try any other entertainment just cooked and got out of there.
    My food was bad (like old meat). Waitresses never came by without us flagging them down.

    The good news. The food is good. I especially like their lunch buffet. The prices are very reasonable. For tonight though, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Service was slow with the group beside us leaving. Low staffing night?
